MSA/750mc - Glass Headlights

Hello all, Apologies if re-post but couldn't find any definitive information or I have missed something. The car I am building for 750mc/MSA events has glass headlights, would a clear film be acceptable for these? I've saw some cars with headlights taped and some with tape which attaches to body and headlights too. Would just like some clarity really or personal experiences.

I have glass headlights on my car, and covered them in this road legal tint. The scrutineers can see you have a film on and it doesn't block out much light. Never had any issues in many years with 750 scruts
