I have unfortunately had to give up my place in a very competitive car for the Race of Remembrance at Anglesey this November so it’s up for grabs to someone else.
We won the class last year in the same car, an MX5 supplied by Brian Chandler, which proved completely reliable. The other 3 drivers in the car are very experienced and friendly guys who gave me lots of help in what was my first ever race last year.
The car is part of a well organised two car team.
As you may know this is a unique event which runs for 12 hours this year with both day and night driving, the atmosphere is like no event you will ever be part of because the race pauses for a Remembrance service in the pit lane on the Sunday morning.
The cost of this place in the car is £1250 which will get you plenty of seat time and if you’ve never done more than sprint races I can tell you an hour or so stint, maybe in darkness, is something you won’t forget in a hurry. If you’re interested please let me know.
