Let's support club racing at Mallory Park
Discussion
Mallory Park went through the doldrums a few years ago but is now back up and running under new and enthusiastic lease holders and they are keen to re-establish Mallory as a popular club racing venue again.
There are only 4 car race meetings at the circuit this year and one of those is on 4 June when there is a Festival for Classic and Modern racing.
There are rounds of the Northern Sports and Saloons championship as well as events for Formula Fords and open races for classic (Pre 1980) and Modern (post 1980) sports and saloons. There is also an Sports v Saloon Open race at the end of the day so that people can have another cheap "libre" type race. Something for everyone in fact.
Mallory needs the support of the club racing community to ensure its long term viability. Let's support it by either entering one of the above races or spectating. Let's show that Mallory is a well loved circuit that we want to keep running.
I know that there are already early talks taking place about the possibility of having a few regional "Star of Mallory" type series for single seaters, sports and saloons and sports racers next year so hopefully the club racing community can show that it is viable with support for this meeting.
This meeting on 4 June is being put on by Richard Culverhouse (former Chairman of CSCC) although not a CSCC event) and the 360 MRC, and there is a FB page which gives more details.
Details, explanatory notes and entry forms/ regs can also be found on the 360MRC web site

The aim is to put on a proper grass roots cost effective club meeting.
It's nothing to do with me, particularly, but I do have a copy of the regs and entry form if anyone wants to PM me with an email address and I will forward the details.
