We are looking to get some custom embroidery done on our race suits (sponsors logo's etc) and I was wondering who you would recommend to do this? We will provide the race suits and the logo designs and placement position. The suits would have to keep their FIA compliance.

Thanks in advance,

Ian

This is exactly what 'hot stitch' do- I have never used their services but I did buy a sewing kit from them for this purpose.

A couple of years ago I used a local seamstress and gave her the sewing kit I'd received from Hot Stitch along with the badges.

I've used Hot Stitch recently to produce 3 patches for me to put onto my race suit. They were both professional about the whole process and their website allows the easy upload of the sponsor logo. They then provide you with an Hyperlink for you to logon to their website a few days later to view what it'd look like in order for you to approve them to manufacture them for you.

They werent "Cheap" but their service was brilliant overall. Think i got 2 custom batches from a image and then a name / flag for the velcro waist strap. All in cost about £90 including their fireproof thread.

Will however be FIA and MSA Compliant. Couldnt comment on any other typical patches these are designed for the job.

my wife is a dab hand at sewing, and we have a big spool of nomex thread if that helps!
