CNC Machining?
Discussion
Hi all,
I've CAD designed a few aluminium engine components for my race car that I'm (slowly) building, mounting brackets and coolant outlets etc.
These parts will need 3 axis milling or similar from my drawings.
I've already had some other components, which allowed for the design to be 2D, water jet cut with relative ease by a local company but I'm struggling to find someone for the 3D components.
There's plenty of local companies (Essex) with the capability to do it but the problem I'm having is I'm too "small fry" for them to be interested in making a few one offs. for a little club racer.
Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations of machining companies that will be interested in my work, I'm sure plenty of UK club racers will have had one off bits etc. machined and will have some good recommendations.
Cheers
