Hey everybody, looking at doing some racing in a Radical to use as practice for some other gentleman driver opportunities in an LMP3 car and I was wondering which Radical to go for to get the best practice for prototype driving.
I've been told by a friend that the SR3 is just as good as the SR8 but a lot cheaper to run. Was wondering if anybody who had driven both could advise in terms of cornering speeds/top speeds and costs of running!?
Thanks

I can imagine this might sound a bit strange, but how about an Osella ? http://www.osella.it/
Past F1 constructor, been making prototypes for years and hugely successful in Europe, better priced, will make a UK entry this year apparently.

Depending on your PoV, running a Radical (in presumably the Radical race series) is going to be a whole load easier with tons of support than trying to run an Italian device just arrived over here I suspect.Past F1 constructor, been making prototypes for years and hugely successful in Europe, better priced, will make a UK entry this year apparently.
I'd say you certainly don't need the hassle and extra cost of the SR8 or Spider, brilliant though they are. If you are running in the Rad championship, you can't use a PR6 and there are loads more 3s than 1s to pit yourself against.
