Worcestershire Amateur Race Mechanic Wanted; Single-seater

Hi,
I've just moved to the area (near Redditch / Droitwich) and I'm looking for a keen mechanic or two to help pre-season and at test sessions and races in the Monoposto 1800 championship. Event entry, food, drink, accommodation (in race transporter / motorhome), and possible drives in my car (if MSA licence is held or acquired) will be the rewards for a good mechanic. You don't need to be mechanically trained ( I can do that), however knowing that most bolts and nuts tighten clockwise, being able to use a torque wrench and a stop watch should be enough to start with.
No loons or wasters please, and no one over 6 foot if you have aspirations to drive the car.

On the forum thread of what motorsport should be on UK TV, I think Monoposto and other grass-roots amateur racing would make great viewing, but I may be biased.

Hi, I cant help, but there are quite a few of us racers around worcestershire if you ever fancy a pint. Im in kidderminster. iirc there is another monoposto racer in kiddy as well

there are a couple of rolling roads locally too, kiddy, ombersly and 2 in bromsgrove
