Road rallying in Derbyshire - the Peak District
Discussion
As many will know the Derbyshire "whites" were (are) classic road rally roads.
They are now under threat of closure by the Peak District National Park, several are already reclassified as bridleways or footpaths. Ramblers and horseriders want the lanes closed to motor vehicles. There are many lanes which were once passable by even a Mini with a sumpguard but through lack of maintenance are only now able to be driven by 4 x 4 or trials bike. If you remember using the Derbyshire whites on a road rally your completion of a User Evidence Form could help to keep the route open.
