Tempted to do a few sprints in the Caterham....tyres ? !

Appreciate some guidance....

Running a bog standard K series 7 ( except for the wide track )and have the standard 6x13 wheels.

Can anyone suggest some tyres that are listed as 1a tyres, and what width and profile can I fit on my wheels. Currently have 155x55x13.

What would happen if I fit 75 profile at the back, would it improve or hinder performance /

Hi Jon,

Most competitors in the Lotus 7 Club championship (in those classes that mandate 1a) use Yokohama A539 in 185/60 R13. They seem to be as good as any but need to be shaved down to about 4mm of tread depth to get the best out of them in the dry.
