Hey,

Hope people don't mind me making this post but I enjoy motor racing and done a few track days at Llandow driving stuff like R8 V10's but of course that's not racing!

I also do a bit of karting with some mates with two of his who have been friends since birth, thought why don't we get a Kart? There not that bad a new one with a GX270 goes around £1500.

I guess there are a lot easier to setup and maintain then a budget car to race.

There 3 tracks local with Llandow only 25 mins away too.

But of course, you can only drive track for so long on your own until you want to race with other and I don't really know if there is any adult karting scene in the UK. I see a lot of juniors, but I cant seem to find out info on google about the Adults.

Just looking to do something a few times a year

What Marc W said basically..

You could go owner-driver at Llandow, they also do a prokart endurance there but you can always do that after but the 2 links above will give you decent arrive + drive racing if you're only interested a few times a year.
