I'm fairly new to here, but after the thread on poor driving standards in racing, what about some positivity? Post up some vids of stuff you've done that you're proud of, or other stuff you've seen and thought, "now that, is proper racing"

A couple of passes that I was really pleased with this year although the racing generally has been brilliant throughout.

I have quite a few on my YouTube chanel but two videos come to mind.

The first is Eurosaloons at Brands Hatch, the car was only running on 6 cylinders due to an ecu fault. Showing 280 Hp on the data logger! Lots of overtaking and a great battle with Andy Robinson in the Ford Falcon! The difference in straight line speed due to the issues was just crazy!

The other was at Oulton park in the TVR Challenge. The car caught fire in Qualifiiing so I opted to start from the pit lane to make sure everything was ok. Took the lead on the last lap! A really fun drive!

The battle between Stuart Nicholls and Jim Davies in the MR2 championship at Donnington in March, They had been close all race and on the very last corner onto the pit straight Jim got a great run and beat Stuart by a hair!

I have many favourites from my racing, unfortunately one of the best didnt record.

This one http://youtu.be/ANGeXxGECP8 is up there though, overtaking 10 cars on the first lap at Spa - actually ive had good races at Spa on every visit - unfortunately i had engine issues this time out but still an enjoyable few laps.

And yes you did see a little 1300cc engined car outpacing 911's, mustangs etc. If you watch my other Spa videos you'll see it happen more often

Got a little boxed in at the start, but managed to work my way back past the higher powered 968, one Boxter on slicks, and then the other Boxter round the outside into Paddock Hill. I feel I got the most out of the 944 that day

09 August 2014. First race of the day and it worth watching for the whole race (maybe from 3min 30sec) as lots going on from the start. Started 7th and finished 9th. A very good race from the off, mistake at 9min 20sec, thought I'd missed a gear, hadn't but too late...and trying too hard at 14min 30sec took me from 6th back down to 9th. For some reason the GPS data logger decided not to work until lap 3 or thereabouts - weird. Worked fine in Q session and Race 2.

After a puncture in race 1 whilst vying for the lead, I was forced to start 32nd on the grid in race 2. This is the MR2 Race Series and you may spot a few Hyundai Coupes who share the grid. I was quite pleased with my start especially and also making places up without touching anyone.
