Historics motorsport insurance

Any recommendations and good practices for insuring expensive historic cars on track? I normally underwrite my own race car rather than pay a premium but am in someone else's (expensive) pride and joy later this year so wanted to take out a policy to cover the maximum damage (i.e. crash, burn and roll). I know there will be a sizeable excess but the only policy I have been given so far seems to stipulate lots of conditions and issues such as max hourly rate and number of hours etc. I just want something that will pay out an agreed value on damage so that the owner is covered, is this available?
