Fixed seat back

One for the scrutineers,
Currently hillclimbing a mini with a fixed seat but considering substituting a road going TVR for an event. Just to see etc.
Problem is the seats are recliners. Years ago, when I did a bit of scrutineering, you had to replace the seat or drill it and bolt it for competition use. Is that still the case.
The seat in one car has a locking mechanism with a lever, the other a knob to turn to recline the seat so shouldn't be able to just knock it.

I'm fairly certain you would be ok in the standard production class as most if not all that I've seen have the OE seats fitted.

Why not give the MSA a call.
