Apparently my old mk1 Golf was involved in a race incident that day too. Anyone know more?
Have a look at my vid, if you look at about 16:00 - and watch out of my right side window you just see it crash into a white BMW, which red flagged the session.http://youtu.be/o7dODMLBvro
Prior to that on the same lap on the run up from copse, it almost came to blows with a fast paced blue 928, that tried to pass on the grass.
Way, way, way to many cars on track to get a quick lap in...

Cheers JJ, thought it may have been in Qualy as no times or DNF for the races. Such a shame as the car was mint. Hope Richard is ok and the BMW driver. http://youtu.be/o7dODMLBvro

An Extract from the CSCC email about this -
'Those of you that were at Silverstone on Saturday are aware that there was an incident in the Magnificent Sevens race that resulted in the race being curtailed.
I am happy to inform you that both drivers are doing well. One is already at home and the other is expected home tomorrow.'
The rest goes on to say he's in good spirits and worried about his car..
cheers
