What class options for an 11yr old?

My 11yr old son has been racing cadet karts for just over a year and we are looking at what other formulas/classes etc that we could move into.
Quite frankly cadet karting is getting ridiculous - wallet waving is king and we just want to go have a bit of fun and a good clean race.
I'm starting to look at what options are out there - so far we've had a look at formula juniors (up to 1000cc) on ovals which looks tempting, but thought the PH massive might have some other suggestions. Also trying to find out some more about autograss as well but not had much luck finding a local track. We're based in Hampshire and don't mind travelling if needed
