I'm not surprised you're having trouble finding one with a tail lift for that budget!!hope its ok to post this here,am new to this!

I have 1992 Renault Midliner for sale - decked out in Alfa livery - it's big - curtain sided with a single bed in the cab. 700,000km - looks great, perfect for motorsport - £6,000.
You'll be lucky to find one with a tail lift for that money....
Be very very carefully with the weight limit, your really going to struggle to get a 2 car transporter with a tail lift and awning and stay under 7.5 to tons..
I struggle with my merc 814 with a 24 ft box. And sleeper cab and one car, and that's with an alloy rather than steel tail lift.
It was fitted with a second deck, carried 2 lotus europas and the awning.. I reckon then it was at least a ton over weight...
We've taken the deck out, don't carry the awning, and are just under the limit with the Tuscan in the back, two people and tools and spares.. The tuscan weighs around 900 kg
More modern trucks do tend to be lighter, but your going to struggle to get one for 7k
What cars are you looking to carry?

That's a nice truck. But! It's £27,500!! Reading the OP, might be over budget?
It is a lot, but its a lot of truck. Had a lot more than that thrown into it. After £25k to take it now.
We searched around for a while trying to find a truck under 7.5tn to take our two westfields, and they all go overweight. I have full hGV anyway so our truck was okay. I wouldnt want to get pulled into a weigh station overweight!
hi all, thanks for the replys, will be carrying x2 single seaters both cars are 850 kg [425 easch] had a iveco before, with cars, and kit and tail lift was at worst,7.3t,wish we had never sold it!! am going to look at one this week end,is for sale at £7250,and looks good, dont mind a doing jobs etc, just a good base truck! kind regards.
dont over look a beavertail boxbody truck if u can find one .mine has a nifty superwinch that pulls the car up should u need to and even with the beavertail i can lower the rear of the truck with out the need for tailift. weight is the big issue as all the previous posts.
and if u or the assistant screw it up whilst loading the tailift it can be messy!!
