Went along to this today, bit of a weak entry at 18 cars but an enjoyable day out.

Thats a Darrian if you didn't know

The 2 above are both converted to RWD

This fella was supposed to bring a Puma. The Focus only lasted 2 runs.
Should have brought Puma methinks.

This fella had just corrected a "moment" after pressing on through the chicane.
Enjoy.

18 cars isn't good at all for a rally event! Good pictures though mate.

Is it just the time of the year that put people off, or was the event prohibitively expensive.
Looks like wonderful weather to round off the year's motorsport, and I have to love the proportion of the entry made up of RWD Fords

Originally there were 24 entries, but only 18 starters on the day, a pity, as the more the merrier.
Whilst the organising club ran the Rally Very well, with good flowing stages, they did not IMO promote the event as well as they could have.
The Forthcoming Southdowns Rally at Goodwood on 11th Feb 2012 already has more entries.
This Rally cost £196 to enter, and it was a “proper” rally, not a rally sprint with 42 stage miles.
Weather was great for that time of year, even though the first stage was damp, Goodwood these days is VERY slippery when Damp/Wet.
There are some more pics here on this PH link,
