Hi Folks, does anyone have any recommendations for companies who produce custom frames and covers to bolt onto standard open trailers. Am I best welding a frame up to the size/shape I want then taking it to a lorry curtain side company or are there companies out there who will do the whole thing?
Regards
Iain

+1 for Mike at GT Motorsport / Trailers. I had one of his frames and covers on a Brian James and it was fantastic, not a leak in sight

Any ideas on rough cost to put a cover on a Brian James trailer? Ive just gone from a saloon to a single seater and i'm wondering wether to cover the trailer or get rid of it and get something else.. I realise the costs vary depending what size spec etc but i don't have a clue.. £200?, £2000?!

I got a quote from GTMotorsport (I think) a few years ago and it worked out at about £100 per foot.

It cost me £1600 to put a frame, two-tone cover (black and silver) with twin side opening etc and tyre rack on to a Brain James Minno Max. It has been fantstsic - completely waterproof and very durable.

Another very happy GT Motorsport customer.

I also have a GT Motorsport cover and frame on a BJ trailer - wonderful. Improved on a previous trailer that was stolen..by having GTM fit thin stainless sheet on the full roof under the cover to stop ponding on the roof. Great peice of kit and would recommend to anyone. smile
