Had my brand new car trailer on eBay (twice!) at £700 less than I paid for it two months ago (selling as I bought a race transporter....).

Not a single bid!! I admit it's not a great time to have it on eBay but I'm amazed at the no-bids scenario.

There doesn't seem to be many trailers on the PH classifieds - do many sell this route? Or do I have to go down the dreaded Autotrader route with it....or somewhere else?

Suggestions pls??

Depends on the trailer. If its one that suits something like a Caterham (Brain James Minno or Club) then you should try the Caterham forums. They go quickly there.

I advertised my trailer here on Pistonheads very recently and it sold within 24 hours with no hassle.

I have also bought two different trailers off here recently too - so it certainly works for me.

Generally I have always found that I get less hassle and time wasting from buyers via Pistonheads than I do from eBay - just my 2p - hope it helps.

Good input all, thanks. I think I'll buy a paid advert on PH when I get in the house later.

Just submitted to PH - fingers crossed, otherwise it will be schlepping to France to live in my barn over winter
