AFAIk you don't want powder in a car & most trackdays/owners clubs recommend AFFF foam. Anything under 2 litre is a bit pointless I think.

Recently bought one of these: http://www.safelincs.co.uk/2ltr-Foam-Fire-Extingui...

Preferred the compact plastic handle to the usual lethal looking metal things!

Nero is going racing, he needs an MSA approved one at least which would generally be at least 2.25ltr such as here http://www.lifeline-fire.co.uk/motorsport/products...
I use a 4 litre mechanical although a 2.25 would suffice if budgets are tight.

Bugger, I didn't realise you supplied complete kits, I thought you only serviced them.

Damn.........!.....Maybe next time

Also just taking on dealership for Super B batteries.....online shop is under construction.!

For example our F Ford 2000 is being fitted with the equivalent to the Varley RT15 =5.5kg
The Super B lithium battery weighs 0.9kg..........That saves 4.6kg
That is less than £50 / kilo weight saving........BARGAIN.....

We will retail this example at £200 + vat

Just one point for Nero to note, don't always expect the lower priced models to put a fire out, they could be expected to keep it under control while you get out and until marshals arrive but most modern extinguishants are pretty useless compared with the now mainly banned Halon.

If you just want a budget system to satisfy the regulations, try this. No recomendations other than for Raldes, really helpful guys and as mentioned by Jagracer, any budget system is a budget system for a reason. All the fire marshals and their tenders struggled with this one though I`m afraid

(pics shamelessy taken from another thread, although we were there and running in the same race)
