Race cockpit 'bits'

This dash replacement setup - which also brings the wheel out and seats the driver a bit further back - are they always custom made? Or does anyone manufacture these things to order for some car types?

I'm after one for my E36.

Pretty much everything will be custom fabricated, you might be able to get second hand bits from the likes of Touring Car Spares, but I doubt you'd get something as a straight bolt in.

you could do something similar, mount the seat further back fit a http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p14087/PRO-RACE-... now the steering is a bit tricky I guess theirs nothing stoping you fitting a longer steering colum and suitable support mounts but this would have to be custom made. Tbh in my opinion your money would be better spent on other things.
