Just a thought. I've been banned from driving, would that exclude me from getting a National B License? I couldn't find anything in the literature.

Not sure about if you are on a ban, but you can have a national b without having a road driving licence.

I believe the rules were relaxed on this so if you lost your licence through speeding you didnt have to give up your race licence. If you lost it through drink driving, death by dangerous driving etc then you have to give up your race licence.

Give the MSA or the circuit where you want to take the test a call to double check though.

I've had a trawl through the blue book and I can't see anything in relation to this but I thought that it was an issue so perhaps the regs have changed to remove any problem

Ring the msa to be sure. Don't forget that track days usually require a road licence and test days usually require a race licence.

I had one while banned, and that was for drink driving, no problems at all.
