What the fook made you think an X5 was an off-road car???

Its for posey London bankers who have too much cash - oh wait! hahahaha

Possibly the worst choice of car you could have made to go off-roading in.

Well, it was never my intention to go off-road. We were in Sharjah looking at farms when I spied a shortcut down a sandy path. It was only 400 yards long, so no worries.....think I got about 50 yards. Buried up to the spoliers! Still, some nice lads towed me out and wouldn't accept a bean, saying it was his duty under Allah. Good old Allah!

Got to use a Dell Boy quote here haven't we, "Chilli, you plonker". Off road in an X5 means parking the car in your garage / car port, which is off the road.

Normally we say it is the driver that got the vehicle stuck, not the vehicle getting the driver stuck. Doesn't help in this case though does it!

This is come ing from somebody who park up at the side of the road (yes still on sand) after doing Tawi Nizwa to Pink Rock, re-inflated his tyres and promtly had to re-deflate so that he could get back on the road. Lesson learnt there!
