Views on your time there?
We're living in the Ambience Apartments, which is next to the Ambience Mall where the big cinema/bowling/golf etc is.
Really looking forward to it, apart from the 45*C heat that is!
I was there for 2 years. I've also done several months in Mumbai. Delhi was altogether a better experience. I enjoyed the time I was there. India is an acquired taste! I lived in the Geetanjali Enclave and worked in Gurgaon. The social life tended to revolve around the British HC & the American Embassy. There were plenty of expats so no problems in this respect. Delhi is the political capital as opposed to Mumbai which is the business centre. This makes the pace of life & the nightlife a bit slower, but there are still plenty of bars & clubs to entertain yourself in. Genrally I would play golf a the weekends, but you are close enough to Agra & Rajasthan to get some good tourist stuff in at the weekend too. We're living in the Ambience Apartments, which is next to the Ambience Mall where the big cinema/bowling/golf etc is.

Delhi, that takes me back. I was based there between Jan 04 and July 05, lived in Delhi but the odd trip to that side of town as the wife's family have family living there. You get used to the power cuts in summer,NOT.
Jaipur is worth a visit for 3 days max (lived there for 2 years...), golf at the polo ground is ok, wide open so you can spray the ball around a bit (not that I did...).
Enjoyed my time in India ( 7 1/2 years) and I would go back there to work if I had to.
