Useful Speeding Website for UAE

Just found this and registered...pretty good Thought I'd share it.

Mods ... hope I'm not breaking any rules by doing this?? Only useful fro UAE speeders...I mean, enthusiasts

Instead of signing into the Police Fines web site, you register your details on this site and this sends you an e-mail when you get busted! Previously, I'd logged in just prior to re-registering the car to find a massive bill waiting

Every time I pick up a speeding fine, the police text me to tell me. Not sure how that site benefits me unless I'm missing something?

What are these speeding fines you refer to?

Useful for some as it seems to serve all Emirates. I drive around quite a bit for work and the AD fines are always an unhappy surprise as they do not text me and I never check the site.

Hi Dictys,

I find the text system is pretty unreliable; many people don’t get any texts at all, others get texts for some fines and not others.
Also on the eggonface site there is a link you can click which takes you to the police website with all your form details filled in, so you can pay your fines online with just a couple of clicks, rather than having to enter all your details on the police site…
