Beach-based Brunch - Abu Dhabi this Friday

Hi all

Thanks for the help with my airport lounge thread - wife has told me she wants to experience an AD Brunch on Friday, ideally on a beach.

Any suggestions?

Not officially beach but the fairmont and shangri la between the bridges AD both do nice friday brunch! fairmont prob the better option

Traders hotel (between the two bridges) do an evening brunch on the beach. You'll have to book.

We're booked into a beach buffet tomorrow evening at the Traders, and Friday Late Lunch at the Yacht Club at the InterCon.

Been looking at restaurants on TimeOut - FishMarket, Hanoi, Catina Laredo, Maroush and Ruchi look interesting at various different levels of wallet abuse.

We might have an evening at Hemmingways too.

Any bad ideas amongst those?

Hemmingways is ok, nothing special - I'd recommend the Jazz Club which is part of the same area in the Hilton - go through Hemmingways to get to it.

Great live band play there, good cocktails, and the food is supposed to be good (never eaten though).
