Anyone here ever work in a Kibbutz?

I'm looking into working at a Kibbutz, and would like to hear any stories from those who have already done this.

I'm looking at working overseas for about 6 months, and it's either going to be a Kibbutz in Israel(If possible) or a working holiday in the UK(definately possible).
