Depends which part of town.

For 70K you can pretty-much choose where you want to live. From Motorcity to the Marina.

You might even be able to stretch to 3 beds in some places but I would stck to 2 beds in a decent location.

Dubizzle is your friend.

Very much doubt you'll get a decent 2 bed in the Marina for that price, it will be tiny if you can.

JLT would be a better bet if you wanted to be in that area.

Dubizzle is the best place to look though

You can get a decent sized 2 bed apartment just behind MOE in Al Barsha for that.

Better Homes (bhomes.com as mentioned) are one of the "better" agents to consult, or at least his is what I found in the summer. If you look at MotorCity be careful of Foxhills 5.

Foxhills 5, tell me more...

Anyone had any dealings with Brix Property?

Story is that 2 people own all of Foxhills 5 and that in year 2 they will not guarantee the underground parking and storage space as part of the rent (ie: tenant will have to pay extra for these), there is no maintenance contract in place so the tenant will be liable for all maintenance.

Don't go for an apartment on the top floor as they are much hotter (your roof is exposed to the sun).

Employment contract agreed, be over Dubai early January.

Thanks again for the links, looks like plenty of choice for the money, staying in a hotel for a few weeks on arrival so i will have time to look around for something reasonable.

Thanks again for advice offered.
