Buying a car, and the language barrier...

I'm sick of it...
When will everyone (sellers) realise that putting "Perfect inside & out" should mean just that. How many times have I seen a car that is an absolute pile of sh!te and wasted so much time that was advertised as such. I really don't know some some people can keep a straight face when I turn up.

Hi Chilli - I share your pain mate...with both boats and, recently, with Jeep Wranglers that I've been looking at. Never off-roaded ya say?? I know it's a Wrangler, and it's supposed to be offroaded...and I don't mind if it has...but don't bloody tell me it hasn't on the phone and then expect me not to look underneath! There's no language barrier...the guy spoke perfectly acceptable English...it's just lying! Grrrr!!

You're right, I was just trying to be polite!
Had it again with a Villa. "Oh, yes it is semi-independant and has a private pool, as per the advertisement". We get there and it's a compound villa with a shared pool. We drove away without even looking at it. Why waste everyone's time?

Also just had a 15k bill for the X5 as well...not a good day so far.

I got the same issue, although I am a seller of a car.

people ring up and say "whats your best offer" - I am like, you have not even seen the car FFS!
Also, they say "anything wrong with the car?" - I say, have you read the addy?

People are just fecking lazy in this place.
