Brazil this weekend will be the first F1 race of the season where I'm not working at the same time, so I'd like to go somewhere and watch it. Anyone know if there are places in Dubai that show it with English commentary? Only Arabic on TV as far as I can tell...

I think it is in English on AD tv now - sure I saw an advert which mentioned this.

Since the F1 cafe closed down not sure where you could go. Last year one of the Hiltons used to show it.

I only get the commentary in Arabic on AD, mind you this can be quite funny (ref when Webber crashed in Korea) and it sounds like it less painful than listening to Leggard.

I watch it on Ad sports and the commentary is always in Arabic....doesn't stop me from turning it up though.
Have you noticed how they simply don't have the Arabic words for everything, and every now and then you get the odd English phrase thrown it...makes me chuckle.

Lots of the sports bars should do it as it's an 8pm start.

I can pretty much guarantee that Auxxie Legends in Satwa will have it on (they do video re-runs for most of them).

Biggles in Garhoud used to do a great GP with the action on the big screen and live timing projected onto the adjacent wall.

Thanks guys, might give the Radisson Blu a go as it's right next to the missus' office.

Nope, those wonderful, kind-hearted souls at ITP.

Probably a bit late for this, but anyone know about how to watch the F1 race in Kuwait?

5pm

I had hoped to watch it in a boozer but the wife is bringing her folks over from India for their first ever visit and are due to be here at 6:30pm.

There would be hell to pay if I wasn't here so I'll have to settle with Arabic.

Watched it with the projector on the wall direct from the good ol' BBC.

Nicely done Red Bull!

Alonso's fist waving post chequered flag was embarrasing...
