Hi Chaps
I will be escaping for a weekend r and r to Bahrain either this weekend or next, can anybody recommend hotels/bars/clubs for a night of drunken debauchery?. I'm open to any suggestions but the hotel has to be good (4 star minimum)and also preferably handy for the causeway. Also, how expensive is the beer?, are we talking Dubai prices or is Bahrain a bit more reasonable?
Any advice gratefully received for a Bahrain noob.

The only place I can think of near the causeway for what you're looking for will be the Ritz Carlton although I have heard the rooms are a bit on the small side!? Nice beach, big Trader Viks there. I dont know of anything thats right near the causeway unfortunatly. The Gulf Hotel is in a good location for bars and resturants but its not near the causeway.

Ended up staying at at Crowne Plaza, not too bad and didnt seem too far once we finally got through the causeway immigration/customs/insurance/paperwork check etc fiasco. And a good night was had by all.
