What's all this about, then? Is it worth a trip down the road to Abu Dhabi? I've taken a look at the above website and I can't decide if it'll be an interesting petrolhead day out or a dreadful chavfest full of shockingly bad modified cars.

Last year was definitely the latter. A couple of interesting machines but mostly rubbish and certainly not worth the trip. Having said that, maybe it'll be better this year...

Even the bona fide Motor Show is the latter.

I think the fact that even in the header image, none of the car's doors open in a conventional manner should tell you everything you need to know... hehe

Hmm, I see what you mean. Things are pretty busy at the moment so the chances are I'll be giving it a miss anyway. If I change my mind I'll post back with an update.

I went last year, and it was shockingly bad - I wouldn't go even if you were passing.

A car park for badly modified cars, not even a show.

If you had to pick from Big Boys Toys and Barbican Turbo, the latter would most definitely be the one to go to! Probably tells you nothing at all, but why not go and have a look for yourself? You might be interested in Ultimate Paintball Combat or Extreme MakeOver...!
