Does anyone watch this? I caught an episode on City 7 the other night and Adam Ketchil was testing the new Camaro. It was so bad it made me cringe. It started off as a complete moan about the lack of cupholders and superflous instuments on the console and he then concludes by saying it is the best car he has ever driven...where do they get these presenters???
Was it the Scouser? He is a halfwit. Actually most "journalists" in this country are halfwits.
I once had an ongoing spat with Wheels magazine over an article in which they incorrectly attributed one of my race wins to someone else. The manner in which they reprinted my response in the letters page (edited by them and amended to be disrespectful to my competitors) made me want to punch their lights out.

Present company excepted, of course! (PhilT, RSPhil and others!)
Hahaha - keep digging That said, you are completely right about the majority of journos here - I used to run a PR firm and the quality of the jornos I'd come into contact with was laughable. It's sort of not their fault as they are paid a pittance, aren't trained or nurtered properly, one week they'll be working on a Homes & Lifestyle mag, the next Yachting or something.
Usual Dubai stuff.
As much as I love all things Pistonheady that program is the televisual version of root canal surgery. Sometimes out of desperation I'll flick through the channels and see it is on and tune in a moment of weakness, watch for 5 minutes and swiftly remember why I don't watch it.
Every car, no matter what it is, is taken to Global Village car park and driven in circles to prove its performance credentials. Simply the lowest possible common denominator of a motoring program.
And don't get me started on his accent....

I was wondering where that car park was! He couldn't even hold a powerslide on the Camaro or the M3. Just doughnuts. It used to show on a Friday morning when I was at the gym, then it stopped and I really thought it had been axed. Surfing on the tele the other night I stumbled on that prog again and the same guy doing the same thing with his oh so predictable (lack of) style! I was wondering what was it about him that rubbed me up so much, perhaps it was his mini campaigns but I think you hit the nail on the head...it is the accent!!!
