Quick Dubai trip for misses b'day!

Hi chaps,

Just got back from being in Dubai for the weekend, took my lady over for a surprise birthday and to get us out of Bahrain for a couple of days!!
Stayed at the Westin, bloody nice! Would have said something on here but didnt think the o/h would have been happy that for her birthday treat we would be meeting blokes off the internet to talk about cars....??? I know, i dont get it either..!

Been 5+ years since i drove in Dubai and although the traffic has slowed on SZR and thined out a bit how the fk do you lot get where you need to go!? They dont make it easy thats for sure! Funny thing was that the new roads coupled with my vauge 5yr old directions even with missed/ wrong turnings i still managed to end up where we wanted to be!!??

So if any of you lot got cut up or stuck behind a blue Focus with a bloke and his o/h in it looking a bit lost i'm sorry!!

And wtf is that overhead sign on SZR if your heading towards Abu Dhabi direction!!?? The one that blinds you its so bright!!

Drove out onto the Palm as well as i've never been on it, pretty impressive i must say!!

Hopefully be back in town end of next month for work.

When playing the game of golf, the idea is not put the ball in the bunker. If you do you are supposed to drive the golf buggy in there and pretend you are dune bashing or taking part in the Desert Challenge.
