Hi all

With Ramadan coming up and the possibility of some good deals from the showrooms I'm thinking about going native and getting a Land Cruiser.

They aren't particlary cheap to buy new but, from what I can gather from Dubizzle ads and Auto Mall prices, they do seem to hold their value very well. Is this true or am I imagining it?

Also, I'm not sure about the engines. There doesn't seem to be much difference in power output between the V6 and V8 so I'm leaning towards V6 because it's cheaper. Any thoughts on this?

Finally, GXR vs VXR. I think VXR is the higher spec vehicle but what's the difference? Toyota UAE website is rubbish hence the questions.

Cheers

The Mrs borrowed one form a friend the other day. She said it was the nicest car she's ever driven, and the ride is miles better than the X5.
That's about all I know, sorry!

Cheers. I suppose the sensible thing would be to get off my bum visit the dealership.

DULL DULL DULL DULL DULL. Capable. Reliable. But still hugely DULL. Infiniti FX much better (unless you're going off road). NEXT! biggrin

PS All IMHO naturally.

Infinity FX is my idea of car hell. Weird looking thing for girls with Gucci shades and Louis Vuitton handbags... IMHO, of course tongue out

What I like about the Land Cruiser is that it just does what is says on the tin. Like you say - capability and reliabiliy in spades.
