'Sport' on Gear One

What's the score with a motor'sport' that I often see on the Gear One channel where a 4x4 drives around a bit, banging off the rev limiter, sort of doing doghnuts but failing miserably.

Am I missing something here because all I see is something completely pointless, devoid of any skill and a waste of tyres?

I went to see it once, up in UAQ Motorplex, after a long journey from AUH, it was rubbish.

We left shortly after arriving.

You could smell rubber from miles away though.
