Anyone played Golf at the Emirates club?

Nah - its fine - not too snobby at all.
I've only played there twice, both corporate days.
First was crap as I was in a group with people that had barelt played.
The second time was excellent - it was a week after the Classic so the course was in stunning condition - however, the greens were crazy. Just look at the ball and it would roll 10 metres!

The Majlis is still the best course out here I think, although Earth @JGE is quite good, played that on Boxing Day.
Wadi course is ste in comparison imho.
Great set up at Emirates overall, tis where i learnt to play from when it opened *misty eyes*, its not overly snobby but they cant get a bit tense about you sitting inside the bar if you don't shower after a round.
Playing Saadiyat on Saturday, interested to see if that lives up to the hype.

Cool. We're playing the Majlis, hopefully. I was unable to confirm the booking as I don't have a scanner, so thought I'd pop in and book it in person. She didn't to take any detials, so I thought that was that.
I then get an email today saying my booking wasn't confirmed, and wouldn't be untill I scanned and faxed the documents over
