I need to take some holiday, so was thinking about taking the day off on Sunday and watching the F1 on the telly.

Any idea what channel it will be on?

I think it was a Bahrain channel last year - I never found it though so the only race I saw was the live one in AD.

Would be good to know though.

With the loss of the rugby, the premiership this summer and F1 nowhere to be found my hours lounging on the sofa with beer in hand are starting to look limited this year!

Abu Dhabi Sport Channel with English commentry if you have cable, otherwise Arabic.

Seems that the Abu Dhabi Sport Channel is viewable on my showtime box, so let see if it happens as expected.

Do you know I have about 1700 channels? Now, I'm not bragging, as it has turned out to be a roayl PITA. By the time you've flicked through a few, it's time to go to bed.

I know I have showtime and Abu Dhabi sports...so good news there!

Quick update - Qualifying is on both Bahrain TV & Abu Dhabi Sports - that is channels 17 & 326 respectively if you have eVision.

Anyone can listen to the BBC radio stations without needing a VPN - just goto bbc.co.uk/iplayer

I'm always surprised at how few people realise this

But you can't listen to it live on sporting events, so you need the vpn. smile

Ah - didn't know that, but then I'm not really into sports. But then again, I have a UK VPN so it's academic really!
