3000bhp cars going up a 55 degree hill. What's not to like? http://www.admc.ae/en/index.asp
Plan is to meet in Musaffah this Friday around noon, then convoy down to Liwa - quite a few ADPCC guys going, be good to get some PHers/Evolve guys too.
Apparently quite a good drive (the last part anyway).

To follow this up...
Saw deaths on the drive down there, SUVs being driven like dheads by locals (worse than normal) and the resultant crashes.
A few good runs, and a few mechanical issues - saw some nice nitrous backfires! They seemed to struggle to find a fire extinguisher when one came back to the bottom! I was surprised, given the power and potential safety issues, that they didn't seem to run plumbed-in systems and reinforced cages.
Some guy rolled at the very top, the whole way down the hill - didn't seem to have a cage fitted either. So, when he eventually reached the bottom the car was a mess - and he would've obviously been suffering a spinal injury - so the first thing that happened was 100's of people ran over to drag him out the car (no smoke or fire present). Eventually when they carried him out, and into the ambulance, it couldn't get off the sand onto the tarmac, so needed towing by a Land Cruiser, who also struggled to get him up the ramp and then almost drove into the DJ!
At the same time, some blokes behind us were driving their own cars up the other part of the hill, and a few of them managed to crash into each other - cue loads of Police surrounding them trying to work out what happened.
I couldn't believe how steep it was, we climbed half way up - and it was bloody knackering, but pretty funny putting in all that effort to get nowhere!
