Who's got a Gen 5 Camaro then? :)

Hi all - having been a Mustang freak, I'm just about to change to a Camaro SS, hopefully at the weekend!

So who else on here is a Camaro owner?

Don't own one, but spent a day driving the wheels off an SS and was rather impressed - it's considerably better than the 'Stang, so good move!

I had a look around one a couple of months ago but couldn't bring myself to opt for either that or a Stang - I have muscle car prejudice!

I've seen a couple since and they look and sound awesome, though I think that colour choice is important as it's such a big car with a tiny glass area that it can look a little toy like.

I've also seen a couple of 2010 Mustangs in the flesh over the past week or two and for me that just edges the Cam on looks. Admittedly until they fit the 5.0 engine it's a one horse race so good luck getting it this weekend and post some pics up soon!

Being a massive american car fan i was very happy when the Stang came out a few years back now with its classic styling and the Charger and Challenger but when i first saw pics of the Camaro it won for me hands down! Ive seen plenty here in Bahrain since ive been here and even gone down the the Chevy just to look at the two SS ones they had in the showroom. I was also lucky enough to see one when it came into my work to get the window tinting done, it was in what i would call a sunburst orange?? f'in gorgeous colour! (i will try to post a pic of it) Also i think the attention to detail inside is better than the new Stang but i haven't driven any of the above so couldn't say whats better but then im no expert. All i do know is that i would be smiling and probably getting into trouble! Or buying allot of rear tires!
