U.A.Q. Drifitng & Dragon Mart
Discussion
This weekend I popped up to Umm Al Quain (Sp?) to see the 'drifting' at the motorplex.
It was very funny, but not in a good way. Just a big expanse of tarmac, no course set up - and SUVs just bouncing off the limiter spinning around randomly until the engine blew or the tyres popped.
Seemed popular with the locals though, I didn't really get the point.
On the way back we stopped off at the Dragon Mart - that was amazing, so much tat all under one roof, never before have I seen chainsaws next to mobile phones next to cars next to suitcases. Well worth a wander if you haven't been.
