Dubai Motor Show - worth a wander?
Discussion
A few months ago I would have said don't bother, but now it seems that most of the manufacturers have decided to sign up. Only no shows will be Porsche, Lamborghini, Honda and Chrsyler/Jeep/Dodge.
The 40Dhs ticket price might put some off, but if you pick up a copy of CAR this month (15Dhs) you should find a ticket inside. As an added bonus, you get to read my witterings...

I shouldn't bother, it's a rag since its incredibly talented and handsome online editor left. The 40Dhs ticket price might put some off, but if you pick up a copy of CAR this month (15Dhs) you should find a ticket inside. As an added bonus, you get to read my witterings...
I'm at the show now, it's pretty good. Definitely worth 40 dhs for a couple of hours. And as an everso subtle plug, I'm writing about it on AutoMiddleEast.com.
I thought it was alright - bit of a battle to get to the cars past the crowds.
A definite bias towards 'Arab' cars - which is fair enough I suppose in Dubai!
I did have trouble keeping a straight face as the reps tried to talk me through the Chinese cars at the very end of the show - they were awful.
