Hi Chaps,

Mate of mine had his Wrangler stolen a few weeks back from outside his apartment block.
The thief is using it often and has racked up loads of speeding fines.

It's a Brown Jeep Wrangler - Plate C 56762

If you do see it at all, please let the Police know and hopefully get this guy locked up.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like this place is starting to get dodgy!

A couple of friends of mine in Mirdif were mugged while out walking at 8pm the other week. Police said its been happening more and more up there and to take care when out!

I'll keep me eyes peeled!

One was jumped from behind and given a kicking by two large lads. And he's not affraid of a good fight or a small fellow himself. But they got his watch, phone and wallet. The other was held at knife point and same stuff taken!

Dont quote me but one of the lads said he thought they were African but couldnt be 100%!

Doesnt really matter at the end of the day. Its surprising that the cops said yeah its getting a problem! Maybe a few more patrols would help out up there. They have had there own police station for about a year now!
I dont know maybe they have??? I've not lived there in over a year and was wanting to head back up there next year till I heard this.

Was this ever recovered?

I thought I saw it last night going sideways around a roundabout on the Al Khail road and then heading up towards Ranches/Autodrome.

Funny, but whenever I see one, I always check the plate to see if it's the one.

Did it have phat wheels and stuff on it?

Saw a brown Wrangler hooning it from DIC/DMC area over the flyover to Barsha Trafic lights and then straight up towards the Ranches. I Followed to see if it was the one that was seen going to the Ranches......He turned right on the Al Khail bridge to head towards Dubai on the Al Khail Road. Fat Local-looking guy with poor taste in sunglasses.

Had to use 3rd gear to keep up with him hehe

Car was standard.
