Apologies Dubai'ers...But We've getting nowhere! No-one seems to know anything here, it's so frustrating!

I know a few of you have kindly given help before, but we're still struggling to find a place for a 3 month period. I've used Dubizzle and a few agents but nothing suitable.
So, if anyone hears of a nice 1 bed furnished place, can you please let me know......I'll treat the lucky winner to beers and dinner !

Many thanks.

Hiya gents, thanks for replying.
Not too worried about locatio. I'll be working in Festival City, but will have a car so not worries there. I have to remember that the Mrs will be "at home" so will need a gym and pool. Would be nice not to have to drive too far for the beach eiher, although this is a nice to have!

Budget? Was thining around the 10k a month, but could go higher if need be.

Thanks again, appreciate any help.

Have you thought about a hotel apartment type place? There is somewhere on Sheikh Zayed Rd I think called the Grand Midwest(ern?) that has the massive Fitness First in it that has room/apartments for rent by the month. It v close to Meadia/Internet City. The beauty is that they are obviously fully furnished and serviced so no outlay on furniture etc.

Me and Mrs John stayed at the Crowne Plaza serviced apartments for about 3 weeks when we first came over and you get what is essentially a studio flat with mini kitchen/lounge area/bedroom. If you are staying for 3 months I am sure you could ask for and get a slighlty larger than normal place.

If you do a google search for ''hotel apartment dubai'' loads of similar places come up.

This is a very good idea - quite a few guys we have out here on temp contracts are doing this rather than staying in hotels now. There's a place by Lamcy Plaza that a couple are in which are supposed to be very big, well furnished and within your budget. You get it cleaned and all your sheets/towels changed too which I'm sure your Mrs will love.

I'll try and get the details tomorrow.

My brother has a one bed apartment coming free at the Marina. Not sure about gym and pool but beach is a stones throw and I think it has a pool. Will check if it's furnished or not if you're interested.

Yes please mate, we'd appreciate that.

Guys, thanks for the advice. It would have been nice for the bank to take an interest in us, but it appears they couldn't care less!

Thanks again.

Don't worry, it's not personal - it's normal. Takes a while to adjust to though.
