Of course officially not many are leaving, but I am hearing a lot of tales.

Are the parking lots at the Airport going to be filled up soon enough?

I find out on Monday whether I stay or not, I'm guessing they'll ask me to stay - but without any improvement on package even after a promotion - in which case I'll probably head off!

I have seen loads of cars in parking on the SZR area that are hekuva dusty, not been moved for a while and with municipality stickers on them. Also, just about everyone I know living in a tower has said that there are loads of cars getting dusty....

Of course it could just be people going on holiday.

DXB-AUH highway is busier than ever as more people take on 'the commute' in order to work in the capital, but leaving the Arabian Ranches in the morning.....every day is like a Friday - empty.

My housemaid also told us that there was a free-for all at a house down in Al Reem as the tennants had left and given instructions to the maid to open the doors and let everything go.....

I'm doing my bit for the economy - have 2 positions open - if you know of any young, fit, European girls looking for secretary work...no experience necessary, but a firm pair of breasts and a suction like an offshore dredger would be an advantage.

Having just moved to a place 5 times the size of our old apartment - got to love the villa rent crash - we're hoping that Dubizzle will be full of furniture and stuff.

Dubizzle is full of furniture (but the good/bargain gear goes quick). It's also full of cars and I've done two deals lately where I've been torn between laughing manically and crying in pity for the poor plight of the person who's leaving as I've driven away.

Why do I feel so guilty?
