Just been told by Showtime that Bahrain Sports has apparently ceased to exist along with their coverage of F1. In addition, Showtime politely informed me that they have no idea where you can now view F1.

Any ideas?

Just found the quali on the ART satellite channel 60 'Bahrain tv' commentary is in English with Arabic over the top - better than nothing, but someone please get this sorted - two races in the Gulf and st coverage.

I watched the end of quali yesterday on Bahrain Sports or Bahrain TV, with Brundle and co commentating, so it still exists somewhere. I'm in Bahrain though, although I doubt that makes a difference..

Hi,

its good to hear you have still managed to get it here in Dubai.

I have been to speak with the showtime people in Ibn Battuta a few times now, and they know nothing of the F1 coverage on Bahrain sports !.

I am thinking of ditching the current sat provider in favour of showtime, if i can get F1 in English.

Might head down there to see if they now have the definitive answer.

You still got your GT3 coming Asterix ?. Its getting some great road test reports.

Rgds.

Asterix - was that in English or Arabic?

All I could find on Showtime was 'Bahrain TV' which had both the quali and race (BBC coverage), but with Arabic commentary.

If you found it with English commentary can you let us know on which channel/satellite etc etc?

Thanks

Ahh, sorry - it was Bahrain TV and in Arabic.

I normally only get to watch qualifying and then go to Aussie legends on the Sunday's and watch the re-run thay have at 8pm.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to miss this evening's re-run as I have a couple of late meetings frown
