Recommendations in Dubai - this weekend

Heading from Doha over to Dubai on Thursday for a weekend on the lash. Staying in the Emirates Towers on corporate rate. Any suggestions for Thursday/Friday night?

Was thinking of the Madinat on Friday as there is a gang of us and dont want to involve too many taxis. Only four on thursday so willing to travel between places. Loved the Buddha Bar and the 51st floor in the towers, so that type of place.

Try the new bar at the Raffles hotel at Wafi - not far from the Towers either.

Best place is to sit just by the lit stairs that go up to the 2nd level.

Apparently, the lights on the stairs shine through the skirts of the girls walking up...

They are not like the true Singapore slings in any way shape or form.

Barasti Bar would be nice to hang out at, but may be a bit sweaty.

Madinat is a nice place to go - Leftbank or Trader Vics (cocktails) is always popular and you can at least have a conversation.

Agree with you on 51st floor. Very nice up there.

Could always try Double Decker Pud at the Marooj Rotana Hotel. Also Longs bars at Towers Rotana hotel.
