Traffic light infractions - - Abu Dhabi

Hi everyone … obviously there is a reason why I’m asking this! Went through on orange and there was a flash from behind! Might have been a coincidence …worried. Especially because I saw reports on Google of a 51,000/- fine and 3 month confiscation as a new thing from earlier this year. It’s a rental car and I’m flying home on Saturday morning.

Has anyone got any actual knowledge of this fine? Is it nuanced depending on circumstances? Speculation probably won’t help …

Seems massive. Other web sources show 1000/- fine and 30 days confiscation.
