Porsche or Maserati for Dubai
Discussion
One month into my new life in Dubai and at least 3 weeks over due for getting some wheels. I am looking at a 911 Turbo Cabrio (2008) or a Maserati GranCabrio (2014) as my main ride to work. Has anyone git any experiences to share on the cost of ownership in the UAE for either of these vehicles, or is anyone selling?
Thanks everyone, I’m actually away for two weeks now and sounds like it’ll be more favourable when I’m back.
Ideally I’d like a GrandCabrio or 911 Turbo Cabrio.
I had put in an offer on a GrandCabrio but withdrew it when I saw the service book was missing stamps from 2015 which massively put me off despite a recent service (22k KM gap) and a good inspection report from an indie.
Anyone had experience with the Car Vault?

UAE is always a buyers market
I would definitely steer toward a Porsche..but never a turbo cab (what is the point!- if you want performance buy a turbo coupe and if you want to cruise then buy a regularly aspirated 911!)
There are far more specialists for Porsche and the cars seem to last a bit better than Italian cars (just like any other market)

heard lots of stories tbh, none of which will be repeated here. the case i referred to above is here:

at the time a few people i know in that field were very tight lipped yet expecting waves. not saying the two events are linked btw.
