Car shipping to the UK
Discussion
Craig.... as you know I shipped my 360 back to the UK a couple of years ago so can give you chapter and verse later but the one thing that you must make absolutely certain of is that when the RTA issue the export certificate they put the exact date of first registration on it....
By default UAE RTA only puts the year of the car and then UK DVLA will use Jan 1 of that year.
My 360 was actually first registered on Oct 21st 2001 making it a 51 plate, thanks to me not being told the above by the importer, the RTA doc just said 2001 - you can imagine my annoyance when my car was registered on an X plate!
It took more than 6 months and the personal intervention of the head of Ferrari North Europe to get the DVLA to re-register the car correctly.
Don't make the same mistake lol

Send me their details please mate and a rough idea on costs. I'm getting various pricing all of which seems to cover the exact same points but with £1k of a difference per car which is way too much.

Sadly, I don't know any shipping companies in the UK, but I can recommend you from the USA one. I bought a brand-new car one year ago, and I needed to ship it to San Francisco from Chicago. So my brother told me to check national transport services. He has more experience with cars and vehicles in general, so I always ask him if I need help with the car. I really enjoyed all the process when we were discussing all the details and contacting with them in general. When my car arrived I took photos and made technical inspection immediately. No scratches, everything came out great. So I am very thankful to https://shipnts.com/
